The City of Kansas City, Mo., Office of Emergency Management, in partnership with NUFAKC is offering FREE Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training. CERT participants will understand how to prepare a family disaster plan, assemble an emergency kit, and learn basic skills to aid themselves and others following a major emergency or disaster until professional responders arrive. The class emphasizes hands on practice and concludes with a full scale exercise.
